She did write poetry, but it's not considered to be modern French (and, frankly, do you think it's good?). I could have gone for Marguerite de Navarre for the female Renaissance post, but Louise Labé is naughtier (and perhaps more of an "exception", as she wasn't from the nobility).

I've never heard of that poem, though :(
