It's just to say it has been suggested not to post anything on LJ this Friday (GMT) - no entries, no comments, nothing - to protest against LJ banning search interests and basic account creations. More details here.

shiv5468 has a handy list of things to know and do when moving to another blog service.

I'm not sure other blog services won't turn out like LJ eventually though. Anyway.

I'm so far behind on reading your IJ posts it isn't even funny. And I see I also have to think up a few choice words for that failed politician of yours whose name escapes me at the moment. And there may be some eye-rolling at the other one as well. ;-)

Speaking of failed politicians (pardon, Tavi!), did you hear that the Napoleon auction brought in 1.2 million euros?!?
